Ruthless Alpha

TRACY’S POV

I stared into the empty space beside me and memories of last night flashed hazily in my mind.

He tended to my wounds. I never would have thought that the ruthless Alpha would ever do that. 

He was so gentle, my whole body was on fire. I felt tingles every single part he massaged. I didn’t even know when I drifted into sleep.

“ How can one’s hands be rough and magical at the same time”, I thought to myself.

“Why did he do that?”, I couldn’t bring myself to answer this question that ran through my mind, He couldn’t possibly care about me. 

I remember the way his eyes bore into my soul, he looked confused. I was confused too because there was no profound explanation for why he was tending to my wounds. 

A look flashed in his eyes but before I could recognize it, he blinked and looked away.

“Was that care I saw in his eyes”, I would just wait until I encountered him again to know if he at least cared.

I was brought back to my senses when I stared into the empty space. Of course he didn’t care, I knew it. 

He was nowhere to be found, he tended to my wounds and still left me here with no words. I swear to the moon goddess, this man confused me a lot. 

I have to get to my room before Amber starts looking. She would have my head if she doesn’t find me, she must really hate me. She whipped me with so much aggression,spat on me and cussed loudly. 

We would never get along, I guess.

She accused me of stealing and I don’t understand what that was about. She was a bit nicer to the other girls so I guess it was just me. She mentioned something about ruining my skin so the Alpha would see me for who I really am, I didn’t catch the exact words as the whip rippled through my skin. 

I hurried out of the quarters after ensuring everywhere was neat and the bed was made. 

I couldn’t shake away the feeling of loneliness as I heaved a sigh and left the room. Crystal wasn’t happy that our wolf wasn’t there. 

I washed myself and rushed out to catch up with the others as I was running late. Amber met me halfway and stared at me in disgust.

“Why’s she so grumpy in the morning”, I thought to myself and before I could speak, she beat me to it. 

“Why are you not with the others? We do not take lateness lightly here.Are you forgetting your place, you little whore?” She said the last word and squeezed her face like it tasted like bile in her throat. 

I wanted to defend myself. I wanted to speak up, tell her never to call me a whore but I can’t. I don’t want to be punished, I couldn’t go through that again and I didn’t want to upset the king. 

I held my lips in tight line and stared blankly at her . I guess that infuriated her more.

“Why are you staring at me? Get out of here and get to work! Don’t go to the Alpha’s office, you’re not allowed in there. We can’t have you stealing all our valuables”, she said her voice chirping loudly. 

I nodded since I couldn’t form any words. She told me where I’d work today and I walked away quickly not sparing her a look. 

I wanted nothing more than to be away from this witch. 

The kitchen was where I was assigned and I must say, I’m a bit relieved because the women in the kitchen are a little nice. 

I heard those heavy boots hitting the ground and I immediately knew who it was. 

“Oh moon! His scent was so strong and irresistible” I guess this is also an effect of the claim and the mate bond. 

He ordered that his food be brought to his quarters. He looked so worn out and stressed. He looked like something bothered him. 

Before I could withdraw my eyes, his eyes were searching frantically and they met mine. He frowned and fear gripped me instantly. 

“Did I do something wrong? Didn’t I clean the room properly? What could it be “ I was lost in my own thoughts and his voice jolted me back to reality. 

“Why are you working in the kitchen? “, he said still frowning. The other ladies in the room looked curiously at the scene. 

I couldn’t form words. I needed to stop going dumb when being spoken to. It would get me into trouble. 

He raised his brows expectantly. He was waiting for an answer. I jumped to my feet and explained it was the duty assigned to me by Amber. 

He looked like he wanted to protest but nothing came out and he walked out of the kitchen. I discovered I had been holding my breath and I released it . I signed in relief and I noticed I wasn’t the only one sighing, we all did. 

Everyone held their breath around him. He’s such a cold man. 

“But he’s our mate,” Crystal spoke and I nodded begrudgingly. 

I finished late in the kitchen and I was very exhausted. The pains from my wounds were starting to kicking in again and I couldn’t wait to retire to bed for the night. 

I went into my room and drifted into sleep almost immediately.

The loud knocks from the other side of the door cut short my beauty sleep but I couldn’t get up from bed, I was too tired. 

I squeezed my eyes shut determined to continue sleeping. 

“Why should anyone be knocking by this time of the night anyway?“ 

The noise grew louder and as I tried to give my sleep another shot, an angry voice spoke.

“Tracy, one more knock and you’re spending the rest of the week in the dungeons with no food or water.” he hissed out the words. 

“ oh my gosh! It was the Alpha.”

 I’m in trouble. 

I scrambled over to the door in a speed that would have made me laugh if the situation weren’t intense 

I fell to my knees as soon as I unlocked the door and rushed out apology.

“I’m very sorry sir, I was fast asleep. Please forgive me sir” 

He was exasperated. He eyed me and said voice booming with command. 

“Wear something sexy and meet me at the quarters in five minutes.” 

 Without sparing me a glance, he walked away mumbling words to himself. 

I rushed to the wardrobe and scanned through the bag of lingeries given to me by the Beta when I first arrived. 

“ I had to wear the best, maybe he would be less angry.” I said as I raked through the bag. 

I finally settled for a feathery lacy red lingerie. 

Red has always been my favorite color, I always thought it made me look more beautiful. 

I suddenly felt discouraged as I caught sight of my wounds but I didn’t have time to sulk, it was time to get to work. 

Displeased by my own thoughts, I shook my head and made my way out of the room. 

I was on my knees and I fixed my gaze on the ground. 

“Look up,” he ordered and I obliged immediately 

He stared lustfully at my plump breasts and I subconsciously pushed my chest forward. 

“What the hell is wrong with me?” 

He spoke, “I’m very bored and stressed, let’s get this over and done with as soon as possible.” 

“Get on the bed!” 

And I did as told.

“ Until I sat otherwise, do not keep your eyes off my face,” he said and I nodded quickly 

In a swift moment, his lips were on my breast. His mouth was on one and his hands on the other, he was twisting , nibbling and biting at the same time. 

My whole body was on fire, I wanted him to take me. I needed him.

“ please…” I choked out.

“Use your words, tell me what you want me to do to you.” he said before biting down on my nipples. 

“ I want you to take me, I need you inside me Alpha.” I pleaded.

He pushed himself into me and I held back a cry of relief. 

He was thrusting faster than before and he looked as if his wolf was about to take over. 

I wasn’t prepared for the next words that came out.

“Get out of here, now!” He yelled.
